Introduction to the Vacuum Cleaning Furnace

I. Overview of the Vacuum Cleaning Furnace
The vacuum cleaning furnace is designed for cleaning equipment components. It is suitable for washing common spinnerets, profiled spinnerets, as well as fine-denier and ultra-fine-denier spinneret assemblies used in polyester, nylon, and polypropylene production. Additionally, it is effective for cleaning filter elements. Compared to methods such as calcination, fluidized bed cleaning, alcoholysis for TEG cleaning , and salt bath cleaning, this equipment offers advanced performance, resulting in longer service life for cleaned filter elements.
Thanks to the low oxygen content inside the vacuum chamber, damage to the metal structure and oxidation of the workpiece are effectively prevented, maintaining the original metallic luster of the components.
II. The Working Principle of the Vacuum Cleaning Furnace
First, the workpiece is heated to around 300°C, causing most of the polymer on its surface to melt and flow into the lower waste collection tank. Only a small amount of polymer and ash remains in the micropores of the workpiece. Then, the furnace temperature is raised to 400–500°C (adjustable according to process requirements) while the vacuum pump is activated, and a small amount of air is introduced. This allows the remaining polymer to fully oxidize, producing carbon dioxide and water vapor. The vacuum pump then extracts ash and water vapor from the furnace. These are passed through a water spray scrubber for washing before being discharged, with ash carried away by water. The entire process produces no polluting gases, smoke, or ash released indoors. Even outside the workspace, only minimal carbon dioxide is emitted, and very little ash is removed by water.
III.Operating Instructions for the Vacuum Cleaning Furnace
Place the parts to be cleaned inside the furnace. Insert flexible graphite sealing rings into the grooves of the furnace cover and collection tank cover, then secure both covers firmly.
Open the main water valve and connect the main power supply as well as the instrument power.
Start the vacuum pump for testing. Adjust the operating program according to the specific cleaning process.
Switch on the system to begin the cleaning process.
After the cycle is complete, the equipment will automatically shut off.
Note: Operating methods may vary among manufacturers. Please refer to the detailed instructions in the equipment manual for accurate guidance. Regular maintenance is also recommended to ensure optimal performance.
